Elversberg officially announce the signing of Kaiserslautern defender Luca Sirch..

Elversberg announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have signed German defender Luca Sirch from Kaiserslautern.

According to the newly promoted Bundesliga side's official statement, Sirch has signed on a three-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029.

After completing his transfer procedures, Sirch, who was interviewed by the Elversberg official website for the first time, said: "Direct encounter over the past two years has given me a very deep understanding of what makes Elversberg unique. This team represents unity, energy, and a clear on-field objective. I look forward to being a part of this team, contributing, and working together towards our goals."

About Luca Sirch

The 27-year-old Sirch was born on June 24, 1999, in Augsburg, Germany. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a center-back, but can also play as a defensive midfielder or attacking midfielder.

Sirch played for the youth academies of non-league clubs Königsbrunn and Memmingen as a chiled. He began playing for Memmingen's reserve team in the summer of 2017 before completing his Memmingen first-team debut in a Bavaria State Cup match the following August.

In September 2020, Sirch joined Lokomotiv Leipzig on a free transfer.

During his four years at Lokomotiv Leipzig, Sirch won the Saxony Cup twice.

After his contract expired in the summer of 2024, Sirch joined Kaiserslautern on a free transfer.

During his two-year spell at Kaiserslautern, Sirch made 64 appearances for the 2. Bundesliga club in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 8 assists.
