Bologna have confirmed the signing of Artem Dovbik, with a contract running until 2027.

Bologna have officially announced the signing of Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik on loan from Roma. The agreement runs until June 30, 2027, with an option to transfer permanently. Artem Dovbik will become the first Ukrainian player in Bologna's history. This talented center forward possesses excellent physical attributes, powerful attacking ability, and precise finishing, enabling him to create numerous threats in attack for the team.  

Born in 1997, Artem Dovbik began his professional career in Ukraine, gradually developing from Dnipro-1. With his keen goal-scoring awareness, excellent positioning ability, and ability to create threats in the penalty area, he gradually emerged as a prominent striker in European football.  

In recent seasons, Artem Dovbik has gradually established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in European football thanks to his consistently strong attacking performances. During his time with Girona in the 2023/24 season, he became a key figure in the team's historic achievement, helping them finish third in La Liga and qualify for the Champions League for the first time. That season, Dovbik displayed exceptional goal-scoring efficiency, winning the La Liga Golden Boot with 24 league goals and becoming a crucial contributor to Girona's breakthrough.  

Then, during that summer transfer window, Artem Dovbik chose to join Roma, where De Rossi was in charge, to begin his Serie A career. In his first season with the team, he quickly adapted to the pace of the Italian league, contributing 17 goals in all competitions and proving his competitiveness in Europe's top arena.  

However, hampered by a prolonged injury during the 2025/26 season, Artem Dovbik was unable to maintain the high-scoring efficiency of previous seasons. Now joining Bologna, the Ukrainian striker will begin a new phase in his career. The club expects him to rediscover his best form and become a key pillar of the team's attack, thanks to his strong physique, excellent finishing ability, and rich experience.
