Vitality official announcement: Former NAVI player jL urgently recalled as a temporary substitute.

Vitality's CS2 team announced on Tuesday that it has urgently recruited Lithuanian player Justinas Lekavicius (ID: jL) as a temporary substitute.

According to multiple sources, jL is expected to replace William Merriman (ID: mezii) and Dan Madsclere (ID: apEX) in the BLAST Porto Open and PGL Bucharest Masters, respectively. As for mezii and apEX, both have confirmed they will be on paternity leave in August and October, respectively.

The 26-year-old jL primarily plays as a free agent and has played for several CS:GO teams including selectah, MAD Lions, Apeks, NAVI, and MOUZ. His most notable achievements to date are undoubtedly winning the PGL Copenhagen Major, the Esports World Cup, EPL Season 20, and the IEM Rio Championship with NAVI in 2024.

Joining Vitality presents jL with an excellent opportunity to prove himself again. Since leaving NAVI in July, he has been looking for a chance to return to the top echelon.

With jL joining the team, Vitality's current roster is tentatively set as follows:
