Official announcement: Joeski has joined ENCE on trial and will replace Cliqq until the end of August.

ENCE's CS2 team announced on Thursday that Finnish rifler Joe Holmes (ID: joeski) has been urgently called up to the main roster. He will play on trial, replacing Niki Kinnunen (ID: Cliqq) until the end of August.

Meanwhile, ENCE confirmed that Cliqq will be temporarily sidelined from the main roster. His future plans are currently unknown.

19-year-old Joeski previously played for several CS teams, including Glitchtech and CSDIILIT, before officially joining Young Ninjas in February 2026. During his time with Young Ninjas, he played on 97 maps and participated in 2182 rounds, achieving an average rating of 1.04.

Joeski's acceptance of the invitation to join ENCE means that he is returning to the professional scene after nearly a month. He has been unemployed since NIP announced the disbandment of its youth training team in July of this year.

Regarding the signing, ENCE General Manager Emery Ikonen stated, "Our new and young starting lineup is still in the early stages of building, so we want to fully explore all possible options. Since we had the opportunity to invite Joeski for a trial, we felt it was necessary to take some time to observe whether he was a good fit for the team. There's no need to rush things; we will make a final decision in the coming weeks."
