BCG CEO Ali Muhannad said on Saturday that the future of Mongolian star rifler Azbayar Munkhbold (ID: Senzu) is currently uncertain.
“We hope to build a younger team,” he told HLTV. “I think we are currently very experienced. We have no plans to replace any other players. As for Senzu, we will have to wait and see.”
Senzu is only 19 years old, but his professional resume is relatively rich. He has played for many CS teams, including TBC, Aravt, The Shine, The MongolZ, Mazaalai, NKT, and Passion UA, and won the YaLLa Compass 2024 and 2025 Esports World Cup CS2 championships with The MongolZ.
In April 2026, Senzu joined BCG on loan from Passion UA. He replaced Antonio Barbosa (ID: aragornN) in the starting lineup and has played a total of 7 maps and participated in 144 rounds so far, with an average rating of 1.03.
Besides Senzu's future, the selection of the in-game leader for BCG is another priority that management needs to address. This position has been vacant since Christopher Fernandez (ID: MUTiRiS) left the team, and was even temporarily filled by 30-year-old assistant coach Robin Lepke (ID: ScrunK). Regarding this, Muhannad said helplessly, "I don't think many teams are currently adjusting their in-game leader selections. However, we'll see."
With the offseason approaching, Muhammad also began to look further into the future: "Ultimately, it's just business, and everything has to make sense. But out of my love for this game, I hope the team can be among the top five in the world. We can do it, even if it takes money and time."
