Wabanjama was convicted of a flagrant foul 1 for elbowing Towns, bringing his total number of flagrant fouls in the playoffs to 3 points.

June 11th - According to ESPN, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wahlbanama was called for a Flagrant Foul 1 during the game. His flagrant foul points in this season's playoffs have reached 3, just one point shy of an automatic suspension.

With 9 minutes and 27 seconds remaining in the third quarter, Wimbledon and Towns were vying for position near the three-point line. During the contact, Wimbledon's elbow struck Towns in the chin. After reviewing the replay, the referees upgraded the foul to a Flagrant Foul 1.

According to NBA playoff rules, a Flagrant Foul 1 is worth 1 point, and a Flagrant Foul 2 is worth 2 points. A player will automatically be suspended when they accumulate 4 Flagrant Foul points. After this foul, Wambano's total points reached 3.

Wambano's previous two points came in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Timberwolves. During a scramble for the ball, he elbowed Naz Reed in the face, was called for a Flagrant Foul 2, and was ejected from the game. However, the league did not impose any further fines or suspensions after the game.

It's worth noting that during Game 3 of the Finals, Wimbledon also pushed Brunson to the ground during a defensive play. However, the official decision not to upgrade it to a flagrant foul prevented Wimbledon from accumulating further flagrant foul points.
