Curaçao-based Counter Strike 2 (CS2) club BC.Game announced on Monday via its official X (Twitter) account that rifler krazy has been relegated to the bench, effective immediately.
According to BC.Game's official statement, everyone at the club expressed gratitude for krazy's professionalism during his time with the team and wished him all the best for the future.
This announcement means that krazy's time with BC.Game lasted only six months. It also signifies the official dismantling of the team's core Portuguese roster.
Furthermore, following krazy's departure, BC.Game's current roster consists of only three starting players: s1mple, electroNic, as well as Senzu, who recently joined on-loan from The MongolZ.
BC.Game acquired the core roster of SAW, which included krazy, in early January. Previously, the club had repeatedly attempted to acquire the core rosters of several top 30 teams worldwide, including Astralis and HEROIC, but all attempts failed.
At the time, SAW was ranked 22nd in the Valve Regional Rankings (VRS), which earned BC.Game qualification for the 2026 Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Krakow, 2026 IEM Atlanta, and the 2026 CAC Championship, instantly elevating them to the ranks of top teams.
Despite external doubts about whether this roster could integrate such diverse players, BC.Game's move undoubtedly boosted the team's strength.
However, this roster also exposed problems with BC.Game's leadership. In April, former in-game leader MUTiRis, during an interview with HLTV at the PGL Bucharest, revealed that there was criticism from team members regarding his role as in-game leader.
Shortly afterward, he and his compatriot aragornN were benched. From then on, BC.Game's roster turnover was more chaotic than a war situation.
During this spell, BC.Game fielded a more diverse roster at IEM Atlanta and CAC 2026, bringing in Senzu and on-field trial analyst ScrunK as stand-ins. Unsurprisingly, this didn't bring BC.Game any victories in the final two offline tournaments of the season, instead causing their VRS ranking to plummet to 44th in the world.
Worse still, as HLTV previously pointed out, after only four matches with Senzu and ScrunK added, BC.Game faces the risk of losing their VRS ranking, meaning they may need to employ some unconventional rosters at the start of the new season to maintain their current ranking.
In conclusion, for BC.Game, bringing in this rumored $2 million Portuguese player as their Counter Strike 2 core roster appears to have been a costly mistake.
The following is BC.Game's current roster:
Rifler: Senzu (on loan from The MongolZ)
AWP-er: s1mple
Entry Fragger: electroNic
Coach: TaZ
Analyst: ScrunK (on-trial)
Rifler: krazy (benched)
Rifler: arcornN (benched)
In-Game Leader: MUTiRis (benched)
Rifler: aNdu (on-loan to ALGO)
