Girona FC has reached an agreement with Oleksandr Pishchul, officially making the Ukrainian striker a new member of the team. Born on January 24, 2005, Pishchul is from Chernihiv, Ukraine, is 21 years old, and stands 2.04 meters tall. Following the signing, he will play for Girona until the summer of 2031.
Prior to joining Girona, Oleksandr Pisciur played for Hungarian First Division team ETO FC. He joined the team in the summer of 2025, having previously played for clubs such as Kisvarda, Puskás Academy, and Gyūrmot, gradually establishing himself as an important striker throughout his career.
Oleksandr Pishchur is also an important member of the Ukrainian youth national team system. At the U20 World Cup held in Chile, this young striker became one of the tournament's surprises with his outstanding performance. Besides his 2.04-meter height making him one of the most eye-catching players on the field, his contributions on the attacking end were equally impressive. In Ukraine's first match against South Korea, he scored a brilliant header, drawing widespread attention. After joining Girona, he will play alongside his national team teammate Vladislav Krapivtsov.
During his development, Oleksandr Pishciur first received his football training in the Desna Chernigov youth academy before moving to the MFA Mukachevo Academy, where he made his professional debut. As his career progressed, he gradually showcased his strengths as a striker. As a traditional center forward, Oleksandr Pishciur possesses excellent physical attributes, strong aerial ability, and a powerful advantage in duels, enabling him to dominate in aerial duels and create more attacking opportunities for his team through his physical prowess.
With the arrival of Oleksandr Pishciur, Girona will have more options in the forward position. This physically imposing Ukrainian striker will not only enrich the team's attacking system but also bring new possibilities for the team's future development.
