FC Augsburg officially announced the signing of young defender Sima Suso. The 21-year-old German defensive starlet joined from Fortuna Düsseldorf and signed a long-term contract until June 30, 2031. In the 2025/26 season, Suso will represent Düsseldorf in the 2. Bundesliga, making 24 appearances and scoring one goal. He has also been selected four times for the German U20 national team, gaining valuable experience at the youth level.
Sima Suso, a product of Bayer Leverkusen's youth academy, is a versatile player who is left-footed. He can play in multiple positions, including defensive midfielder, central midfielder, left center-back, left back, and left wing-back. His versatility is a major advantage.
