Pierre Sager stated that the team must continue to train hard in order to make continuous progress.

Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sager hopes his team can carry the good form they showed in their victory over Al-Ura into the rest of the match. Crystal Palace finished their Como Cup campaign with a 3-1 win over Al-Ura in Friday's game.  

Crystal Palace started the match strong, quickly finding their rhythm and displaying a powerful attacking threat. Within just 10 minutes, they took a 2-0 lead thanks to brilliant goals from Justin Devonny and Eddie Nketiah. For the first 15 minutes, Crystal Palace continued to create attacking opportunities, firmly controlling the game; had they been more clinical, their lead could have extended even further.  

Although Al-Ura pulled one back, reigniting the suspense in the game, Crystal Palace extended their lead again in the second half with a goal from Jed Canwater, ultimately securing a 3-1 victory. The team is currently in full preparation for their Premier League opener against Everton, and manager Pierre Sager hopes his players can improve their consistency and maintain this high level of performance for the full 90 minutes.  

When asked if this was the team's best half in their preseason so far, Pierre Sager replied, "I think so, maybe even better in the first 15 minutes. The reason is that we really played according to our plan and our own way. This proves that our tactical approach is effective, but what's more important now is that we need to maintain this level for the full 90 minutes."  

"For me, it's crucial that the team can consistently create offensive opportunities. The game is always changing, and sometimes the opponent will adopt a low-post defense strategy. At that time, we need to find ways to break through and create threats in different ways."  

"This is perhaps one of the most challenging parts of a football match, so we must continuously improve ourselves through ongoing training. If the opponent takes the lead first, for example, if the score becomes 0-1, the situation becomes even more complicated. We need to prepare in advance for all kinds of situations so that the team can cope with different types of matches."
