German captain Joshua Kimmich encouraged his teammates to showcase their talent.

Germany , nicknamed the "German Machine ," defeated Finland 4-0 in a friendly match, thanks to goals from Winduff, Wirtz, and Musiala . Kimmich stated in an interview that the team has many talented players, and therefore they must bring their abilities to the game.

Germany won a corner kick in the 34th minute. Kimmich chipped the ball into the penalty area, and Windav headed it into the net, giving Germany a 1-0 lead.

In the 48th minute of the second half, Finland made a mistake, Windav intercepted the ball and passed it back while falling to the ground. Wirtz then slotted the ball into the net, giving Germany a 2-0 lead over Finland. In the 57th minute, Lennart Karl played a long pass, and Windav received the ball and, after dealing with the defense, fired a low shot into the net, making the score 3-0 for Germany.

In the 63rd minute, Pavlovic delivered a diagonal pass, and Musiala, after a few adjustments, fired a long-range shot into the net, extending Germany's lead to 4-0. Ultimately, Germany secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Finland in this friendly match.

German captain Joshua Kimmich said, "For the entire 90 minutes of the game, we gave our opponents almost no chance, in fact, we gave them none at all. We deserved this victory."

“We wanted to implement high pressing as much as possible in the game, and Windav’s goal came from that kind of pressing. We also scored through quick counter-attacks and set pieces, so this game contained almost everything we wanted to show.”

In their next friendly match, Germany will face the United States, coached by Pochettino, before qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Kimmich continued, "We have a lot of talented players, and all we need to do is bring that talent to the field."

In addition, German midfielder Musiala, who plays for Bayern Munich, suffered a fibula fracture and dislocated his ankle during the Club World Cup last July, and did not return to the field until January of this year after recovering.

"We created a lot of good opportunities," said 23-year-old Musiala. "Although we hadn't trained together much before, we brought what we wanted to show before the match into the game, so I hope everyone liked our performance."

“I haven’t scored in a while, so I’ll bring that positive feeling into the next game. I think playing the full 90 minutes will help me a lot because I haven’t played a full match in a long time.”
